2021 Ducati Scramblers

The Ducati Scrambler is one of the most beloved Ducati bikes around the world. It has achieved this feat because there's a Scrambler for everyone out there. Ranging from the ones who love to have long rides on the asphalt, to the ones who want to take to the great unknowns and everything in between. This year Ducati has added another variant to the line up of Scrambler 800s, which is the all new Nightshift, and the other 2 variants being the Icon and the Desert Sled.

The Scrambler 800 Engine

The Scrambler comes with the tried and tested 803cc air-cooled L-Twin engine which puts 72Hp at 8,250 RPM and a peak torque of 66.2Nm @ 5,750Rpm, the engine is now Euro 5 (BS6) compliant. All the Scramblers are identical in terms of specifications.

Variants

Nightshift

Let's start with the newest member of the Scrambler family the 'Nightshift'. This bike features a matte grey and charcoal paintjob.

It is a departure from the usual bright colours of the Scrambler. Additionally, it has an almost cafe racer-esque look to it, courtesy of the flat handlebar and the bar-end mirrors along with the flat seat. In our opinion, that is striking. Needless to say, the spoked rims add to the neo-retro charm of the bike. The Nightshift replaces 2 of the models that won't be available anymore, Full Throttle and the Cafe racer. In a way, we think this bike incorporates the best of both the bikes. 

Icon

The Scrambler Icon returns for yet another year and brings with it, the aforementioned updated engine. The colours stay the similar, but this time around, Ducati has added the iconic Ducati Red colour to it's  pallette. Ducati also offers a special edition of the bike called the Icon Dark. Both the bikes come with 10 spoke alloy rims, full LED lighting, single disc brakes on both the wheels. Excessive to say that the bikes are identical in every aspect but,  the Icon Dark has a matte black paintjob making it look rather sinister. 

Desert Sled

The Desert Sled is the Scrambler for those who don't back down from an adventure, but aren't keen on the huge, bulky ADVs that are in the market. The Desert Sled is the one most capable for off- roading of the Scramblers,  thanks to it's longer travel suspension, the spoked rims, higher ground clearance and other bits and bobs. The Desert Sled also harkens back to the enduro bikes of the 80's with the high front fender, round headlights with a guard and the new 'Sparkling Blue' livery it completes the 80s look. This bike is a certified looker!

Price

The Ducati Scrambler series is priced from INR 7.99L to 10.89L meaning there is a scrambler for everyone out there. This can translate into a ticket to the legendary Italian brand for many!
