Today in Indian auto industry we have plenty of quarter liter bikes which can perform outstanding when compared to the superbikes of our dreams, lets try to find out which one of these stands-out on performance and it capabilities


KTM Duke 390:
The Duke 390 is powered by a hyper squared 373 cc engine, which delivers 44 bhp's @ 9500 rpm. The engine also manages to deliver 35 nm @ 7250 rpm which is about 2250 rpm lower than the peak power rpm. The bike uses an extremely light weight trellis frame to hold all the machinery together. The Duke 390 comes fitted with dual channel ABS from Bosch and a slipper clutch for better traction. Bike features a short wheel base of just 1367mm. The bike just weighs 154 kg wet with a capacity of 11ltrs of fuel tank.

Benelli TNT 300:
Benelli TNT 300 is powered by a 300 cc twin cylinder motor, the TNT delivers 37.73 bhp @ 11500 rpm and manages to generate 26.5 nm @ 10000 rpm. TNT 300 also features a comparatively heavy design of trellis frame to hold the extremely heavy aggregates of the motorcycle. The Benelli 300 weighs a whooping 196 kg wet with 90% fuel. TNT 300 features a bigger fuel tank and a luxurious seat for long distance journeys.

Kawasaki Z250:
The Z250 is powered by a 249 cc twin cylinder motor, max engine power is 31.5 bhp @ 11000 rpm and manages to deliver 21 nm @ 10000 rpm. The Z250 gets a hidden perimeter frame to hold the bike together. Kawasaki manages to keep the Z250 weight at 168 kg wet with 90% fuel. Z250 also gets a 17 liters of fuel tank.

Mahindra Mojo 300:
Mojo is power by a single cylinder 294.72 cc engine which develops peak power of 26.8 bhp @ 8000 rpm and manages to generate whooping 30 nm @ 5500 rpm only. The Mojo also gets a massive 21 liters of fuel tank. The bike weighs about 182 kg wet with 90% fuel. Mojo get a weird looking double tube perimeter frame with flashy color.
